Ohm Law: Basic Statement and Definition with Simple Circuit

Ohm law explains the relationship between voltage, current, and resistance which are three fundamental components fo Electrical Circuit.

The mathematical formula for the law is:

V=IR

To practically learn this circuit consider a simple resistor connected in series with a voltage source. The source is simple DC battery that is normally available as 12 V DC supply. A resistance of 1k ohm is connected.

Now the current flowing through the circuit will be 12mA.

Now compare the voltage current and resistance with Ohm's equation and you will observe:

12V = 12mA * 1kohm

Mili and kilo are inverses of each other, whereas A*ohm = V,  and we receive.

12V = 12 m*k*V

Finally, the equation of Ohm is practically proved.
